It values free will, commitment, engagement and solidarity, which are the foundations of volunteerism.

In April 1957, the Ramon Magsaysay Award was established by the trustees of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF) based in New York City. With the concurrence of the Philippine government, the prize was created to commemorate late president of the Philippines and to perpetuate his example of integrity in government, courageous service to the people, and pragmatic idealism within a democratic society.

The people behind DotPH have been involved in the Internet since 1989, five years before the Philippines was officially connected to the Internet backbone. DotPH servers are the center of the Philippine Internet Domain Name system. The system routinely handles over 60,000 queries a day through a network of over 80 servers, complete with firewalls, anti-virus protection and security against Denial-of-Service and other attacks. |
