Heny Sison Culinary School's Japanese Food Workshops

Got a craving for Japanese cuisine but don’t know how to make them? Fear not! Heny Sison Culinary School is going to hold several Japanese cuisine and desserts workshops!

Heny Sison Culinary School is a boutique culinary school. They offer short courses through their Lifestyle Classes, and intensive courses through their Essential Series. These classes cover recipe-based lessons to more advanced baking techniques.
These are the following Japanese-related classes hosted by Heny Sison Culinary School:

  • 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Facilitated by: Chef Patty Loanzon
  • What to expect: Japanese cheese desserts – pies, cakes, custards, and cookies with cheese.
  • Demonstration class only.
  • Participants should bring containers

  • 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Price: Php 3,000.00
  • Facilitated by: Heny Sison
  • What to expect: Japanese Cheesecake, Sakura Mochi, Dorayaki
  • Class will be hands-on.
  • Apron and ingredients will be provided
  • Participants should bring hand towels and food containers.

  • 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Price: Php 6,500.00
  • Facilitated by: Chef Juan Carlo Estagle
  • What to expect: Learn to employ the Japanese Tang Zhong baking method, Japanese Flaky Loaf, Shokupan Milk Loaf, Sweet Melon Pan, Red Bean An Pan, Curry Pan, Cream Bun, Hong Kong Sweet Pork Bun
  • Class will be hands-on.
  • Apron will be provided.
  • Participants should bring a hand towel and food containers.

  • 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Price: Php 3,000.00
  • Facilitated by: Heny Sison
  • What to expect: Green Tea French Macaron, Hazelnut Dacquiose, Mini Strawberry Shortcake
  • Class will be hands-on.
  • Apron will be provided.
  • Participants should bring a hand towel and food containers.

  • 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Price: Php 2,500.00
  • Facilitated by: Koichi Kondo
  • What to expect: Oyako-Don (Chicken & Egg on Rice),  Gyudon (Beef Bowl), Tendon (Tempura Bowl), Katsu-Don (Pork Cutlet Bowl), Soboro-Don (Minced Chicken and Egg Bowl), Tori Teriyaki-Don (Chicken Teriyaki)
  • Class will be hands-on.
  • Apron will be provided.
  • Participants should bring a hand towel and food containers.
