The Man Who Dedicated His Heart To Help The Youth Amid Pandemic Crisis

Seeking out recreational activities for the sake of the youth in light of the pandemic, is how Ricardo A. Burgos Jr. Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairperson of Barangay Conel in General Santos spent his time.

He firmly believes in the potential of young people, so he reached out for assistance and eventually discovered the greatest way to change the mindset of the youth regarding suicide that were circling around in his community.

He is also pursuing his studies. Sticking to his dreams while offering an extra hand for the youth. It is indeed an act of willingness to put effort and hope for this generation. His commitment to take on the duty of guiding this route will undoubtedly yield fruit at the appropriate moment in the future. He is a hero. He is a hero who keeps motivating and helping the youths in his community. Burgos’ heart is full of kindness and hope. His willingness to support and help the youth in any ways possible matters not only to himself but for the residents in his town.

Is it possible to find a solution to the crisis that we are now experiencing? Yes! The problem will not only be addressed, but it will also be converted into a new light of hope, which will spread to other barangays or to the whole community as long as we have a full cup of generosity and optimism flowing around us. Burgos has reached a watershed moment in his life, and he is now ready to act and express his vision for youngsters to be more productive and responsible. Because the young people in his community are enthusiastic about sport . He requested help in developing a more productive strategy like organizing events for the youth, sports and other recreational activities.

He is good at managing his time. After school activities were over, he would assist in the packing of items for food aid that would be given around the neighborhood. This is exactly the kind of service we need at this time. He really wanted to demonstrate to the kids his unwavering support and love in the midst of the epidemic.

Being a teenager is both rewarding and challenging. They must confront the realities of life one step at a time. They are more susceptible as a result of the exposure they have received from this new generation. May this generous gesture will continue and make us act willingly to help the young ones, as they are now in the stage of exploring and discovering themselves.

We are truly proud of Burgos and the rest of SK and authorities in his town for doing this and spreading awareness and support for the youth.
